Horticulture Help Line Established at Extension Office

What’s wrong with my tree? What is this bug I found in my yard or home? What is this spot in my lawn? What kind of tree should I plant? Why won’t my tomatoes bear fruit?

Answers to these questions and more can be obtained by contacting the Horticulture Help Line at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension Washington County Office. The new help line is being staffed by Washington County Master Gardeners on Monday mornings 9-12 noon at the Washington County Extension Office, 947 Grant Street, Blair or by calling 426-9455.

Master Gardeners have received over 40 hours of instruction in horticulture subjects. They are volunteers who have attended classes and are putting their knowledge to work to help others. Staffing the Help Line will be Ray McTee, Amy Campagna and Lois Jensen. The Help Line will be available during the month of July and may continue if needed.
