Washington County Recycling

Through the Washington County community and start-up assistance of the UNL Extension office in Washington County, a weekly collection site has been established for your recycling needs.

Between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on each Saturday, the Washington County Recycling Center takes recycling materials. With the use of a drive-thru building, the process is quick and easy. Just drive your vehicle through one side, the volunteers unload your recycling materials, and you drive out the building. To help the process, please have your materials seperated as much you can before coming to the center.

This would not be possible if it weren't for the many volunteers who work at the Recycling Center. Many organizations, businesses, families, and individuals have helped in one way or another. If you would like to volunteer for a Saturday shift (8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon), please use the contact information below.
